Who Is Considered a First Responder?

First responders fall into three categories: law enforcement, fire, and medical. The law enforcement personnel who are eligible for the discount include: police officers, sheriffs, and their deputies, correctional officers, state troopers and federal law enforcement officers and 911 operators and dispatchers. Eligible fire service personnel include career and volunteer firefighters. The medical staff who qualify for the discount are EMTs and paramedics. In certain cases, spouses of first responders are also eligible to participate.

We’re often asked a series of questions regarding our First Responder discount offer. To save you time, we’re going to do our best to answer the top five questions we receive regarding first responder discounts and rebates for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and RAM vehicles:

1. WHAT CHRYSLER, DODGE, JEEP, AND RAM DEALERSHIPS OFFER FIRST RESPONDER DISCOUNTS? All FCA franchise dealerships in the United States are eligible to participate in and offer the First Responder Discount.
2. HOW DO FIRST RESPONDERS GET THEIR DISCOUNT? All eligible personnel must present a valid code generated from the “Get Authorization Number” button above, confirming their eligibility status to a franchised FCA US LLC dealer in the United States at the time of retail purchase or lease of an eligible vehicle. Customers may be asked to provide qualifying documentation to a third-party to confirm their eligibility status.
3. DO FIRST RESPONDERS GET DISCOUNTS ON ALL CHRYSLER, DODGE, JEEP®, AND RAM BRAND VEHICLES? This offer is valid on the 2023 Ram ProMaster®, Ram1500 DS, Ram 1500 DT (excluding TRX models), Ram 2500 and 3500 pickup models and Ram 3500, 4500, 5500 Chassis Cab models as well as 2022 Ram Brand vehicles, excluding Ram 1500 TRX. The offer is valid on all 2022 Chrysler brand vehicles. The offer is valid on 2023 Jeep® Gladiator, Compass, Grand Cherokee WL and Wrangler models, including 4xe, and on select 2022 Jeep® Brand vehicles, excluding Renegade Sport 4×2, Grand Cherokee WK and Cherokee Altitude. The offer is valid on all 2022 Dodge Brand vehicles (including SRT®).
4. DOES CHRYSLER, DODGE, JEEP, OR RAM OFFER FIRST RESPONDER DISCOUNTS? Yes, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and RAM Brands offer a First Responder Incentive to eligible Police/Law Enforcement Officers, Firefighters, and Medical workers.
5. HOW MUCH IS THE CHRYSLER, DODGE, JEEP, OR RAM FIRST RESPONDER DISCOUNT? Eligible First Responders will receive $500 off the purchase or lease of select Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and RAM Brand vehicles.
